June 25, 2005 – Ohio State Reformatory – Mansfield, Ohio Investigators: Stormy Renner, Lee Renner Duration: 8:00pm to 6:00am Conditions: Clear, warm in pm, chilly in am Pictures Taken: 231 Interesting Pictures: 4 Video Footage: 1 Clip of an orb in motion EMF Meter: We had no EMF meter activity during our visit to the OSR This was a gorgeous place to visit and it was awesome to be standing in the rooms where portions of The Shawshank Redemption was filmed, especially since it is one of our favorite movies. As far as paranormal activity goes there just wasn’t much that happened on our visit. This does not mean that the location is not haunted by any means. One cannot label a place to be haunted or not haunted just by one visit. In my opinion it would take many visits and much data recorded and analyzed before a claim can be made.
